Chase Strawser

Hi, I’m Chase Strawser. I'm a passionate sports broadcaster, writer, and operations professional. Originally from Germantown, Maryland, I grew up a fan of every sport from Football and Basketball to Lacrosse and Swimming. I recently graduated Cum Laude from Elon University with a B.S. in Sport Management and a B.A. in Journalism, along with minors in Leadership Studies and Professional Writing Studies.

I currently serve as a Content Assistant with World Lacrosse, where I collaborate with the Marketing and Communications teams. I also support game-day marketing and fan engagement as a Street Team Member for the North Carolina Courage and North Carolina FC.

At Elon, I was the Co-Executive Director of Rising Phoenix. I led a team of reporters, photographers, and editors to produce high-quality sports content. I also hosted and produced The Rising Phoenix Podcast, delivering in-depth interviews with the athletes, staff, and alumni of Elon athletics. Beyond media, I served as the Team Manager and Administrative Assistant for Elon Lacrosse, where I contributed on game-day and with team operations. My internship experience includes working with USA Lacrosse’s National Teams Department, where I helped coordinate events and provided administrative support.

Whether I'm calling a game from the booth, producing content, or managing operations behind the scenes, my goal is to build a career in media and operations — connecting audiences with athletes and making an impact.
